The ALFARobots prop-trading team is looking for a C/C ++ programmer to join our team. You will be responsible for the further development and support of the in-house trading platform.

The candidate must have strong motivation and have experience working in a team.

Responsibilities:

development of high frequency trading (HFT) applications

implementation of mathematical models for trading logic

development of new and support of the existing functionality of the trading platform

Qualifications:

• Experience designing, developing, and supporting mission-critical, high-performance applications.

• 5+ years of professional C++ experience by Linux.

• 5 + years of back-end development experience

• Knowledge of Boost C++ library will be good

• Knowledge of multi-threaded programming is required

• Understanding of IPC

• Very good knowledge of mathematics

• Experience with ML, RL, GA and ANN is a plus

• Experience with version control systems (Git), bug tracking systems (Redmine)

• Understanding of GOF’s patterns is a plus

• MySQL, PostgreSQL and other database experience and experience with large distributed database design is preferred.

• 3+ years experience with client-server and peer-to-peer architectures, network security and basic network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP and UDP).

• Experience in working with FIX protocol and FIX engine is a plus

• Experience with inter-process messaging, micro-service architectures, and API design

• Bachelor/Master Degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent degree
